Want to create a gorgeous website but the thought of attempting to "code" makes your eyes cross? No worries, I've got you! Squarespace is an incredible platform that combines responsive layouts with ease of use. With different "themes" to choose from, there's something for everyone... even those who need e-commerce functionality! A bonus with using Squarespace vs other (non seo friendly) drag and drop editor sites is the fact the Squarespace allows you to inject code into the header, footer and even directly on the page of your site! Picmonkey is one of the most affordable yet versatile graphic design tools I've used. Picmonkey offers both a free and "Royale" aka paid version. While the free version is amazing, I recommend the Royale version, because it's super affordable at just $2.75 a month! Crazy right?!Edit your photos, create collages and design stunning graphics using Picmonkey. They also give you the option to design on a transparent background, so you can easily create a simple text logo using the program. They've been rolling out some really cool new features lately, so check it out today!
Ready to create a nice Facebook Cover photo or your daily quote graphics? Canva has you covered. Choose from one of the many templates they offer such as: Facebook covers, email headers, blog graphics, social media graphics and more. Canva offers both a free and paid version. The paid version is called, "Canva for Work", and has some pretty cool features. But you can certainly get by with just the free version!

Ready to get started with building your list, but not ready to dish out your cash? Mailchimp is a great option! Grab a "Forever Free" account to start collecting subscribers (up to 2K). There's a limit of 12,000 emails per month, but if you're just starting out I think it's safe to say you should be safe within those restrictions. *wink* There are a great selection of templates and forms to choose from. Can't beat it for the price!
Ready to step it up a notch with your email marketing? GetResponse is what you need in your arsenal! With seamless list segmentation, and a great selection of different auto responder triggers to choose from, GetResponse gives a great BANG for you buck. Plus, it's what I use for my own email list! They also have a great selection of templates to choose from for emails, forms and even surveys!
While they do have landing page options, I don't recommend them. I find them clunky and difficult to optimize for mobile view. (Don't worry, I'll give you my FAVORITE pick for landing pages below.) Bonus, GetResponse is affordable AND they have a free 30 Day trial!
Oh LeadPages, how I love thee! This is hands down, one of my favorite tools for marketing. With LeadPages, you have the capability to create landing pages, sales pages, webinar pages, pop up lead boxes, lead links and more. If you've clicked on a link to download one of my freebies, or viewed a sales page, the landing page you hit was via LeadPages! The nice thing is that you can embed your LeadPage right on your website AND if you use WordPress for your site, there's a really great plug-in you can use! LeadPages provides so many different templates to choose from and has amazing conversion rates. So if you're looking for a beautiful, seamless design for your landing pages that integrates with so many different email service providers, give LeadPages a try!
Now, I'll admit... I've had a love/hate relationship with Paypal in the past. But since switching over to a business account, it's been smooth sailing! Paypal integrates with numerous different softwares, has the capability to take installments and gives you the option of creating payment buttons on your website! The fees are standard for each transaction and Paypal is a trusted and well known brand, which means customers feel safe paying via Paypal.
As a bonus, you don't have to wait for your funds to be released (unless your client has paid with an e-check). It's free to transfer your money from your Paypal account to your bank account, and you can also use your Paypal debit card directly. Paypal also accepts international payments, which is a huge bonus. If you're looking for a safe, reliable and trusted payment processor, Paypal is a great choice!
Stripe is the 2nd tool in my payment processing "arsenal". Used with a shopping cart, you can accept credit cards, debit cards and even accept payments over the phone. Stripe will "hold" your first payment for 7 days, but after that you can set how often you'd like automatic withdrawals to happen. It's a very secure site and I love the fact that it integrates with my accounting/invoicing software (Xero).
